The 8 foot clay model of the Don Revie Statue has now been completed by the sculptor Graham Ibbeson.

In the New Year this clay model will be rubber moulded in order that a wax version of the statue can be produced. Molten bronze will then poured into the void left by the wax, to produce a raw bronze cast of the statue. This cast will then be worked on by master craftsmen to reproduce in bronze the Don Revie Statue.

We are on schedule to unveil the Don Revie Statue at Elland Road at 11am on Saturday 5 May 2012 (FA Cup Final Day) exactly 40 years after Leeds United beat Arsenal to win the FA Cup in 1972.

However, we need continued support for the Football Memorabilia Auction at Elland Road on 29 March 2012, the planned Don Revie Tribute Evenings and the issue of the commemorative First Day Covers that will be announced in the New Year.
